It's finally happened.

USC has been KNOCKED OUT!

YEAH BABY!

It all started four years ago, when LSU was "THE" champion after winning the BCS Championship.

But, the AP couldn't stand for their little darlings -- the USC Trojans -- to not be tops. So, rather than naming LSU #1 at the end of that year, they still picked their beloved USC as tops.

BOOOOO!!!

Well, my dears, USC was BEAT by an UNRANKED Stanford, after almost losing it to Washington State the week before.

Finally, the media have stood up and taken notice that LSU is the REAL DEAL (beaten 3 Top 25 ranked teams, with at least two more to face) while USC is nothing but POSERS!

So, LSU is the undisputed #1 while USC fell from #1 to #10 in the AP Top 25 poll.

Of course, we're only midway through the season and, with the way things have been going, anything can happen and no one is safe.

But, it's never been a question for those who bleed Purple and Gold. The Tigers are always #1 in our hearts!
