The college football season is winding down and oh what a season it has been!

Of course, being a Tiger girl, I only want to see my LSU Tigers in the National Championship game!

But, as usual, the national media is paying no mind to my Tigers despite what the numbers show. :(

I think LSU deserves a shot at the championship. Why? Well...

Our only loss comes to a ranked team. Other number 1s who lost fell to teams in the cellar and not ranked.

At this point, LSU has played six ranked teams, with a record of 5-1. By far the most teams any ranked in the Top 25 has played this season. Check the numbers from this weeks Top 5:

LSU: 5-1

Oregon: 2-1

Oklahoma: 2-0

Kansas: 1-0

West Virginia: 1-1

LSU has definitely been tried and tested.

Depending on who ends up top on the East side, whoever we play in the SEC championship game will likely be ranked as well.

Right now, the chance for another national championship is LSU's to lose.
